Università degli Studi di Udine – Sala Convegni Gusmani – Palazzo Antonini
The “Gusmani“ hall is on the ground floor of the Palazzo Antonini Cernazai, prestigious late-16th century building and today home to the Humanities Faculty of the Udine university.
Just a few metres from the rooms is a large, internal park that is wonderfully kept, officially named after the “Brunetta Group, Udine Youth Club”, a peaceful, green oasis in the centre of Udine. Receptions for conventions can be organised in the park, as well as meetings and debates.

How to reach the venue
By bus:
The railway station is the main stop for all buses. You may take several busses to get 4 minutes walkin to the converence venue. Check the route by bus.
By taxi:

By car:
If you plan to reach the conference venue by car here are some suggestions on where to find parking:
• underground parking at piazza I Maggio: the fee is 0.70€ per hour and it is only a 5-10 minutes walk from the venue;
• street level parking near the conference venue: via Gemona and via Deciani have parking whose fee is 1.00€ per hour;
• free street level parking in the nearbies of teatro Palamostre (10-15 minutes walk from the venue).
Udine
Udine is located in Friuli Venezia Giulia region, in the North East of Italy. Udine is about 140 km far from Venice, and 80 km from Trieste. The nearest airports are Trieste, Ronchi dei Legionari (50 km, 25 min. by car) and Venice Marco Polo (130 km, 75 min. by car or 90 min. by train), and Treviso airport (135 km, 96 min. by car, 80 min. by train).
The event is hosted by the University of Udine, located in the downtown center of Udine.

By plane, the nearest airports are:

By train:
Udine is located on the Rome to Wien line (Rome, Florence, Bologna, Venezia Mestre, Udine); coming from Turin or Milan you have to change at Venezia Mestre (Venice mainland) station and take the train to Udine – https://www.trenitalia.com/
By car:
Highway A4 (from Venice towards Austria), follow on the highway A23 to Udine/Austria, exit at Udine Sud toll station, straight ahead for Udine centro, the downtown area.
